Welcome to our time out farm

From the highway A 72 exit Niederfrohna is only a few minutes drive. Next to the village stream, the village winds through a small valley. On both sides of the main road you can already see beautifully renovated and new houses, agricultural buildings and here and there a meadow. You immediately feel at home in this small, cozy village.

The Auszeithof is located on a hill and about 150 m from the main road. Therefore, you can see the farm with its imposing half-timbered buildings from afar. The approach via the narrow access road up the hill expands the view into the greenery and focuses on the old walls. Already you drive through the so-called gatehouse into the inner courtyard.

One feels as if arriving in another world. Many beautiful flower pots, a fireplace and a quietly splashing fountain give an almost Mediterranean impression. Ample seating invites you to linger and explore. Ideal for reading a book or chatting, for example.

Already our dear farm dog Elli welcomes the guest - always looking for a few extra strokes. The four cats take it easier; they only lift their eyes. They are just too busy with a long nap in the sun...

Even in midsummer temperatures, guests are enveloped by the coolness of the almost one meter thick masonry on the first floor. Entering the more than 300-year-old listed house conveys the charm of the past. Old floor tiles and an old kitchen stove, wooden plank doors and an old laundry mangle. Many a guest has been reminded of the kitchen of his grandparents.

Look forward to a romantic getaway full of peace and relaxation. Immerse yourself in the rural idyll, forget hurry and haste, enjoy our animals, explore our farm and the surrounding area such as the picturesque Mulde Valley with its castles and palaces.

We strive to make your stay as pleasant as possible. We will gladly give you tips for excursions and organize cabs or shuttle buses. Personal conversation is still important to us, because we value a family atmosphere.

Our motto: "greet a stranger - say goodbye to a friend".

Of course, this doesn't always work out, but we are working on it and some wonderful friendships have already developed.
